Privacy Policy

Introduction and Overview

We have written this Privacy Policy (version 14.03.2026) to explain to you, in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and applicable national laws, what personal data we as the data controller – and the data processors we engage (e.g. hosting providers) – process. All terms used in this policy are gender-neutral.

Privacy policies often use technical and legal language that is difficult to understand. This Privacy Policy aims to convey the most important information as clearly and transparently as possible. We process personal data only where a corresponding legal basis exists. If you have any questions, please contact the responsible party named in our legal notice (Imprint).

Personal data, as defined in Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR, includes information such as IP addresses or browsing behaviour when visiting our website.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognise certain settings on your next visit, such as your language preference.

Cookies can broadly be divided into technically necessary cookies, which are essential for the operation of the website, and optional cookies, which serve purposes such as analysing user behaviour (analytics) or delivering personalised content. Optional cookies are only set with your explicit consent.

On your first visit to our website, you will be asked which cookie categories you wish to allow. This preference is itself stored in a cookie.

Retention period of cookies

Retention periods vary depending on the cookie. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser; others may remain stored for several years. You can manually delete cookies at any time via your browser settings.

How to delete cookies

You can manage, disable or delete cookies in your browser settings:

Legal basis

Technically necessary cookies are processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional cookies are processed on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
